Tom Brosnan has been dancing since he was seven years old and by the age of twelve, he achieved second place in the World Irish Dancing Championships. After studying Sports Science at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff (UWIC), Tom joined his first professional Irish dancing Tour in 2009 and spent six months touring Australia.
It was during this tour that Tom met Erin, romance blossomed and they fell in love. Their genuine connection with one another and their shared passion for Irish dance is clearly evident and gives their performances a special connection that is almost tangible to an audience.
Since turning professional Tom has travelled to over 15 countries with various international productions including a world tour of Hearbeat of Home in 2013/2014 by the producers of Riverdance. Tom is also an avid QPR fan and attends home games whenever he is in the country. In 2013 Tom Brosnan was named “Man of The Year” by Irish Dancing magazine, a huge accolade in recognition of his remarkable talent and his work as a great ambassador for Irish dance.
Born in Australia, Erin Trevena started dancing when she was just five years old. By the time she was twelve, she was named Australian National Irish Dance Champion. Erin went on to win the Irish Dance National Championships five times making her one of the most renowned Irish dancers ever in Australia.
Erin also started touring in 2009 on a six month tour of Australia with ‘The Rhythms of Ireland’ production and she has since travelled the world with numerous shows including a world tour of Heartbeat of Home, from the producers of Riverdance in 2013/2014.
Erin now lives in Bristol, England with Tom, but travels home to see her family whenever she has a break from performing.
