Extreme Aqua Divers perform a new water ballet
Show Description
Aqua Dive Riders swim like dolphins, dive and fly whilst performing acrobatic tricks up to 12 metres high. The riders are just standing on a board that is connected to a jet ski by an 18 metre hose.
They can perform in all types of water ie sea, river, lake, pool as long as it is deep enough.
The length of the show is generally from 10 to 20 minutes with the option for it to be performed several times a day.
Riders bring their own boards and kit as well as life-jackets and wetsuits. The Hirer just needs to provide jet skis.
Performance Area
The show requires 30×30 metres that is completely free of obstacles with no cables on the bottom of the performance area. Depth required – at least 3 metres. They can perform with less but this reduces the tricks that can be performed.
Performers require a secure dressing room close to the performance area where they can store equipment safely. It also needs to have access to electricity to charge costume batteries.
Easy access to the water via a pontoon is also required.
Technical Requirements
1 jet ski for each rider. The board can be plugged to any brand of jet ski (Seadoo, Yamaha, Kawasaki).
1 rescue jet ski
1 spare jet ski back up
It is recommended to provide jet skis with a minimum of 230 horsepower in order to fly higher and to enable the performers to deliver the best tricks.
Freight and Logistics
The equipment travels by air freight. The performers need the details of a local transport agent. We will provide a precise packing list and pro forma invoice. The Hirer is responsible for customs clearance and local transport of equipment
Some airlines allow the performers to take their boards and equipment directly on to the plane.
Travel
Performers require return flights from Europe to the UK and all ground transfers from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the venue and back each day. The client is responsible for all visas if required.
Accommodation
The Hirer must provide accommodation for all the performers including per diems or 3 meals per day and soft drinks. We do not need 5* accommodation but a clean and reasonable 3* standard hotel would usually suffice but we ask to see a website before we confirm agreement on this.
Water Screen for evening shows
1 video projector in real minimum 20K (Barco, Christie) to be confirmed according to location, distance, lighting environment. Generally, the video projector is 30 to 100 meters from the water screen according to the lens. 1 jet ski, if we bring our own water screen nozzle (20 kg only), with a remote control. You can also rent a 75kw water pump with a water screen nozzle, in place of the jet ski.
